Construction of Centro Namai will end in the first quarter of 2009. The price per square metre of a finished flat with a one-vehicle parking space in the underground garage starts at 7900 litas. The capital’s Centro Namai was designed by Architect Gintaras Kuginys and Interior Designer Asta Puoliene.
Algimantas Petrulis, Managing Director of Eurox LT UAB, states that the company, which is using the best experience and traditions accumulated by its Estonian colleagues and has evaluated the special features of Lithuania’s market, is offering Lithuanian inhabitants services with a new level of quality and fully finished flats and offering business people offices that meet their needs. The business ideology of Eurox is to give its clients the keys to a fully finished home and home environment, leaving the new homeowners only the tasks of bringing in the furniture, hanging their favourite picture, finding the right spot for the plant...
Neeme Nomme, CEO of AS Eurox, confirms that at present the two markets the most favourable for the company to develop are Estonia and Lithuania. The latter, according to him, ‘is especially attractive since it is still developing and stable while Estonia is already only stable.’ N. Nomme does not think that the real estate markets in the Baltic States are being threatened by cooling since the supply of high quality residential housing and offices is far smaller in our rapidly growing countries than in other European states.
Eurox LT is already preparing to realise more projects for residential housing and commercial premises in Lithuania. The plan for a complex with residential homes, offices, and retail space is being prepared for a 3.5 ha lot on Ukmerges St in the capital.
Eurox LT was founded in Vilnius in 2006. Its main shareholder is the Estonian capital company, AS Eurox, which is controlled by AS Nordecon. The latter company is also a shareholder in Estonia’s largest construction company, Eesti Ehitus, the shares of which are traded on the Tallinn Securities Exchange.
Founded several years ago, AS Eurox has already invested over 60 million euros in Estonia and is among the country’s leading real estate development companies. This year it developed 15 projects in Estonia, for ex., in Tallinn it is building Technopol, an original office and residential housing complex, in which the world-famous Skype company was founded, is erecting the central offices of Estonian Railways in the capital’s centre, has begun a uniquely shaped office high-rise, and in the country’s second city, Tartu, is finishing construction on a fully finished low-rise residential home complex.
